Objective
Build a defensible fulfillment model and seller responsibility decision for a beginner dropshipping business using written evidence, explicit assumptions, and a clear next action.
The operating idea
Fulfillment Model and Seller Responsibility is treated as a business decision, not a shortcut. Start by writing what is known, what was directly observed, what was calculated from a model, and what remains an assumption. That separation prevents confident language from replacing evidence and gives a teacher, teammate, or future operator a record they can inspect.
Within Foundations & Business Model, the seller remains responsible for the customer promise even when a supplier performs fulfillment. Marketing, payment fees, refunds, support time, delays, and quality problems all affect the result. The lesson therefore uses gates: define the question, collect the minimum useful evidence, compare it with a threshold, then keep, improve, test, verify, harvest, or exit/pause.

Exercise
- Create a one-page evidence record for this lesson's decision.
- Label every material statement VERIFIED, OBSERVED, MODELED, ASSUMED, NEEDS CURRENT VERIFICATION, or NOT YET TESTED.
- Write one measurable threshold that would support continuing and one stop condition.
- Name the owner, due date, source, and next review date for every open verification item.
